Astrolabe

The invention of the astrolabe due to the Greek astronomer Abrakhosh 120-194 BC. He spent his life between Rhodes and Alexandria, but the first actual astrolabe that reached us dates back to the Islamic era.

An astrolabe is an ancient tool mainly used to help astronomers to determine the location of the stars at any date of the year and at any hour of the night.  It is also used to measure the angle of a star.
