Relief of Maat

Maat was the central concept of ancient Egyptian civilization. This word can be translated as “truth”, “justice”, “cosmic and moral system”. It made harmony between all the creatures. When a King presents Maat’s statue as an offering, it means he rules in God’s justice and order on earth.
