In celebration of the second anniversary of the opening of NMEC and the reception of the royal mummies in a grand procession from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, and in conjunction with World Music Day, the museum hosted a large musical concert in the outdoor area overlooking Ain El-Hayat Lake in collaboration with RMC. The concert was performed by the internationally renowned Egyptian soprano Amira Selim, accompanied by her musical ensemble, on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.
