On Friday and Saturday, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat reported record attendance of 12,000 visitors, the highest attendance rate since the museum opened its doors in April, 2021.
Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, Managing Executive Director of NMEC says: “The museum witnessed, during the past two days, a remarkable influx of visitors, amounting to about 12,000 visitors, from all over Egypt, in addition to Arab and foreign tourists”.
It is worth-mentioning that the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat has become a magnet for visitors since its opening, as well as the magnificent Royal Mummies, that have been transferred to NMEC in a ground-breaking parade, back in April 2021.
